I have always loved the sea since my childhood, especially because I used to fish with my grandfather, which remains my fondest memory with him. Currently, I am working on a Biofloc system to promote an ecological approach and to be able to deploy this system on a large scale.
Coming from a coastal tribe in New Caledonia, within a still protected marine ecosystem, I aspire to play a role in the protection of these marine areas against climate and anthropogenic challenges.
Since I was little, the ocean has fascinated me. This interest was passed down to me by my mother, who, when I was 12 years old, initiated me into diving by having me complete my level 1 certification. Since then, we have explored underwater sites together, discovering the beauty as well as the fragility of aquatic ecosystems.
New Caledonian, I grew up surrounded by the sound of waves and by the elders' discussions on the importance of taking care of our lagoon, which has driven me in this field so that future generations can appreciate its richness.
My memories of fishing with my grandpa are tainted by the pollution of waterways and pushed me to take an interest in these ecosystems to try to protect them as best as possible.
Enthusiastic about restoring habitats and combating climate change, I am driven by the desire to work as a team to explore and save endangered coastal ecosystems.
My youth spent exploring the waters of New Caledonia, practicing various activities, has profoundly shaped my relationship with this environment. This personal experience motivates me to contribute to this expertise
Passionate about ocean conservation since my childhood in Togo, where coastal erosion deeply impacted me, I am determined to contribute to the preservation of our precious marine environment.
I have always had a great attraction for immensities, fields containing the unknown, such as the ocean, space, or even neuroscience. Indeed, by nature curious I like to explore them, understand them.
I inherited his passion for the marine environment from my father. At the dawn of the environmental challenges that await us, I have retained the determination that inspired me when I was little to work for the protection of coastal ecosystems.
